Bob Carr may have famously whinged about the lack of pyjamas on one of his many long-haul overseas flights as Foreign Minister but it's not something his successor Julie Bishop will have to worry about, after being presented with a personalised set of Qantas pyjamas.

Qantas arranged the customised pjs after it was reported Ms Bishop had worn an airline issued set to an early-hours meeting of the National Security Committee not realising she would be beamed in back to Canberra from Ukraine via a video link instead of by phone.
In the aftermath of the downing of MH17 the government held NSC meetings daily, many of them were held in the early morning Kiev time, Ms Bishop said she was startled to see video screens instead of a handset.
"I'd had an hour's sleep in four days, so I rolled into a room in my pyjamas because it's supposed to be a phone call and there were huge video screens," Ms Bishop said in August.
"In Canberra you have the Chief of the Defence Force in uniform, the Federal Police Commissioner in uniform, the PM in his blue tie uniform – and I'm in my jimjams."
In his book, Diary of a Foreign Minister, Labor's last Foreign Minister Bob Carr infamously complained "I lie in my tailored suit" because there were "no airline pyjamas". He was roundly mocked for the comment.
