This is a significant achievement as only these two boys and Tristian Sailor (the son of Wendell Sailor) were the only Year 10 boys in the 12 man squad comprising of nine 18 year olds.
Billy and Jesse were the only two players from outside of Sydney.
The boys represented NSW Combined Catholic Colleges and are both students of Red Bend Catholic College in Forbes.
The championships involved teams from all states of Australia and two development sides from New Zealand.
The NSWCCC results from the week long tournament are as follows:
Day 1
NSWCCC v ACT - won 14/2; NSWCCC v Queensland Development - won 8/5; NSWCCC v VIC - won 5/2.
Day 2
NSWCCC v NSW Independent Schools - won 8/7; NSWCCC v Western Aus - drew 7-all; NSWCCC v Queensland - lost 10/1; NSWCCC v Tasmania - won 17 /0; NSWCCC v New Zealand - won 9/4.
Quarter-final
NSWCCC v NSW Development - won 5/3.
Semi-final
NSWCCC v NSW Combined High schools - lost 8/0.
The loss left NSWCCC in third position.
Queensland Combined High Schools ran out winners over NSW Combined High Schools 8/5 in the final to be the undefeated winners for 2014.
