The match started out with Matthew, Warwick and Michael grabbing an early 12-4 lead.
Terry, Col and Keith narrowed the margin to 13-11 before Matthew, Warwick and Michael won seven of the last 10 ends played, including a maximum six shot end, to run away with the match 31-14.
They will now play Geoff Freeman, Graham Barby and Graham Fleidner in the final this Saturday, September 27.
SOCIAL BOWLS
30 bowlers contested six games of Pairs and one game of Triples last Thursday.
In the Triples game, Bob Freeman, Guy Ellery and Kevin Hynds played Mike Parkes, Brian Sefonte and John Corcoran.
Some big scoring ends by both teams highlighted this game.
After 10 ends, Mike, Brian and John held a narrow 14-13 lead.
Bob, Guy and Kevin then won five of the next six ends to lead 22-15.
They held their advantage over the concluding ends to record a 30-25 win.
Peter McPhee and John Carr won 11 of the first 14 ends to lead 31-5 over Ron Hornery and Eddie McPhee.
Ron and Eddie won four of the last five ends to make the score 32-9 before they declared Peter and John the winners.
Ray Jones and Geoff Freeman only lost five ends in their good 29-8 win over Bob Riseborough and Josh Mills (Pottsville).
John Dunn and Col Mudie played Ted Wright and Arthur Corbett.
John and Col led 16-4 after 11 ends and went on to win comfortably 29-14.
Greig Ball and Waylon Pritchard played Terry Hetherington and Col Hayward.
This was a very close game which saw the scores 11-all after 15 ends.
Terry and Col won the next two ends to lead 15-11 before Greig and Waylon won the last four ends to win the game 17-15.
John Hodge and Keith MacRae played Noel Nicholson and Graham Barby.
John and Keith got away to a great start and led 18-3 after 12 ends.
The latter ends were shared equally with John and Keith maintaining the advantage to record a 27-13 win.
Joe Crowley and Dave Johnson took the lead on the seventh end and were untroubled in their 22-12 win over John Watson and John Ward.
The major winners were John Dunn and Col Mudie with the minor prizes going to Ray Jones and Geoff Freeman.
Mike Valentine and Nimo Mills played Ray Jones and Ron Hornery in social bowls last Saturday.
Ray and Ron had a commanding 15-1 lead after seven ends.
Mike and Nimo fought back to narrow the margin to 19-12 after 16 ends.
Ray and Ron then scored 15 shots on the next three ends and went on to win the game 37-15.
Ted Wright and John Ward only lost six ends in their 25-9 win over Craig Henry and Col Hayward.
Tom Furey and Liz Byrne played Ron Murray and Gwenda Carty.
Tom and Liz grabbed an early 9-4 lead before Ron and Gwenda won the next four ends to take the lead 16-9.
Ron and Gwenda won six of the last nine ends to win 24-14.
In a very dominant performance, Rhona Went and Greig Ball only lost five ends in defeating Allan Wright and Joe Crowley 37-8.
Rob Irving and Col Mudie played Steve Turner and John Carr.
This was a very close game with the score 12-all after 13 ends.
Steve and John won the next three ends to lead 17-12.
Rob and Col finished strongly, scoring one shot on each of the last five ends to snatch a 17-all draw.
Rob and Col won the ends 11-10.
Gordon Dickson and Geoff Freeman played Paul Cook (Northern Beaches, Mackay) and Gary McPhee.
A hard fought start to the game saw the score 9-all after 10 ends.
Gordon and Geoff won six of the next seven ends to lead 19-11.
Paul and Gary scored four shots on the next end to narrow the margin to four shots with three ends to play.
The last three ends were hotly contested with Gordon and Geoff winning two of them to run out winners 21-16.
Bob Freeman and John Hodge played Cliff Westcott and Bruce Orr.
Bob and John led 10-0 after three ends before Cliff and Bruce won the next four ends to level the score 10-all.
The next 10 ends saw a lot of good bowls played as Bob and John held an 18-15 lead.
Bob and John then won three of the last four ends to run out 25-16 winners.
Major winners were Bob Freeman and John Hodge with the minor winners being Ron Murray and Gwenda Carty.
Next Saturday is the Max Tomkins and John Corcoran sponsored Super Saturday.
SUNDAY JACKPOT
12 bowlers played three games of Pairs.
Bob Freeman and Rob Irving only lost three ends in their 13-5 win over Peter Meachan and George Boatswain.
Kim Evans and Mal Porter led all the way in their 19-11 win over Terry McDonald and Steve Ryan.
Mick Blunt and Graham Barby hung on to defeat Maureen Bailey and Kevin Hynds 13-10.
Prize winners were Bob Freeman, Mick Blunt, George Boatswain, Maureen Bailey and Graham Barby.
The jackpot was not won and increases to $560 next week.
Go along on Sunday morning for a game of bowls, a sausage sandwich, and a chance to win the jackpot.

MENS CLASSIC TRIPLES CARNIVAL
The annual Classic Triples Carnival will be played on the weekend of October 11-12.
Bowlers are reminded to get their teams organised quickly as nominations close on October 5.
