It is very important that players register at this session as a PDJCA selection meeting will be held at the Star Hotel from 7pm next Monday, September 29, to put players into teams and create a draw.
PDJCA are concerned that a good number of players, especially of high school age, who enjoyed their cricket last season are still yet to register for the new competition.
Competitions for the new season are scheduled to start on Saturday, October 11, in Under 16s, 14s, 12s and 10s age divisions.
The popular in2cricket scheme for players aged 5-8 years should begin in mid-October on Saturday mornings.
Registration costs remain the same as last year and are as follows:
Under 16s - $80, Under 14s - $65, Under 12s - $45, Under 10s - $20, family maximum - $120.
Dates of birth for placement within the various age groups are taken from September 1.
For example, if a player is aged 11 years on September 1, then they would be placed in the Under 12s.
Players will need to be accompanied by a parent/carer when they register.

Two outstanding former Western cricketers who now represent NSW visited Parkes schools last Friday to promote cricket in the area.
Trent Copeland (Bathurst) and Scott Henry (Mudgee) took time out of their pre-season to encourage kids to enjoy the great fun cricket has to offer.
Trent has represented Australia as well as spending time playing for Northamptonshire in England.
Both players proved to be splendid role models for the children they met.
