A good attendance of the business community was present at the function and local business and website developer, BreezyIT, showcased the website and features.
Although the website is 'live' the chamber is continuing to 'fine tune' it by further enhancing a member login area which will allow members to self-manage their business listing, check correspondence specific to chamber members, access to the NSW Business Chamber and other information specific to the chamber.
The chamber will also be seeking feedback from members and the community as to any suggestions in improving the website.
The aim of the website is to provide a platform for communication between the business and local community.
The chamber wanted a central area for disseminating information, informing members of local and national issues, publicising events and opportunities and a marketing tool for attracting new business to the Shire.
It is an exciting opportunity for the Chamber in moving forward and seen as a positive step towards communicating with the business sector and identifying future goals for the chamber to achieve with the business community.
