Neighbours rushed to the assistance of the 86 year-old female driver after the sedan crashed half way through the wall – the result of her foot getting stuck on the accelerator.
The driver was uninjured but more embarrassed by the incident saying "In all my years of driving I’ve never had an accident in my life."
Surprisingly, the vehicle suffered only minor damage.
Police, Ambulance and Fire brigade personnel attended the site and a tow-truck removed the car from its predicament.
