I featured the wonderful effort of Sonia Davies in the City to Surf race last week. But I think achievement is also worthy of recognition.
Priscilla Greenwood (daughter of well known locals, Robyn and councillor Michael Greenwod) took part pushing a pram with her two children.
Priscilla and her babies ran the race in 1.46. All three were registered. Marli is two and it was her third race (Priscilla was pregnant at the time), likewise with Riley who is seven months (his second race).

Parkes man, Stan (Elvis) Kingham continues to promote the town at every opportunity.
Stan, 80, has been a strong supporter of the community all his life, but now enjoys his hobby, his passion of singing and Elvis as often as he can.
Last weekend, Stan went to the second Blue Mountains Elvis Festival at the Katoomba RSL. It is held to coincide with the death of Elvis.
Stan didn’t win the sound-a-like competition, but was thrilled to win the Best Elvis Outfit from the nine other contestants.
“It was judged by audience acclamation and it was really close, with me and another entrant who is a close friend,” Stan said.
“They had to ask the audience a couple of times before it was decided.
“It was particularly pleasing with my new Elvis outfit, because it was made by the late Cushla Fuller with the cape by Dawn Clohessy.
“I took the chance to tell them about our Festival, which most of them knew about, and most said they would be coming next year.” STAN is pictured with his trophy.

I don’t know if you have been following the story we have been running about the Vietnam veteran who visited Parkes 43 years ago and thought it was the friendliest place on earth.
