The business previously provided a red Nissan Pulsar to the Lachlan Local Area Command, just after its release in Australia.
Local residents no doubt saw the vehicle being driven throughout the command.
The Pulsar was recently returned to Frank Spice and they provided the Lachlan LAC with a new Nissan Juke, which has only been available in Australia for a short time.
This renewed their decision to support the efforts of local police in crime prevention.
The Juke has been fully marked with police decals and will be used by several officers involved in crime prevention, youth liaison and domestic violence.
Without the support of this vehicle, operational police vehicles would be diverted to school meetings and community events.
“This generosity allows operational police vehicles to remain on the street to respond to community needs,” commander of the Lachlan LAC Superintendant Chris Taylor, said.
“The sponsor vehicle arrangement is greatly appreciated and highlights how a long standing local business can participate and support local police in the prevention of crime.
“Police are looking forward to continuing their crime prevention work and they will be even more visible now.”
Frank Spice Nissan’s dealer principal, Troy Hurford, said support for the police area command was a continuation of community goodwill.
“We felt it is a good opportunity to give something back to the community, a gesture in helping crime prevention and the opportunity to extend our input to the community we currently have”.
