Parkes Pottery Group has invited the community to attend the three-day exhibition titled Enigma.
Enigma is the mystery that has beset the group to produce a collection of art works that embraces the fundamentals of the lure of clay.
The exhibition opens tonight, and continues tomorrow and until 3pm Sunday.
The fine line-up of talent includes Pol Cruz, Elsie Mahon, Judy Kinsela, Nola Reeves, Elizabeth Briton, Gail Hall, Mavis Harrison, Sue Smeaton, Bev Rowe, Sally Armstrong and Jocelyn Moles.
Tonight’s opening night will include nibblies plus wine from Twisted River Winery. Admission is $10 with the exhibition commencing 6pm.
The group commenced more than 40 years ago under the guidance of the late Kathleen McGuire.
Newer members have been nurtured and mentored under the guidance of accomplished artists and potters including Pol Cruz, Judy Kinsela, Nola Reeves, Mavis Harrison and Sue Smeaton to produce outstanding works for the exhibition.
