Peta Fagan (12) and India Draper (13) have already been included in a NSW Under 13 squad of 46.
The trialists will now be reduced to two state sides to take part in the Australian Championships in Brisbane in October.
Peta and India were selected for this opportunity after starring roles with Parkes at the state championships in Orange.
Peta, the daughter of Jodie and Darren Dunn, is a forward and has been playing since she was five.
She plays all positions in the forward line.
India is the daughter of Amanda and Richard Draper, and has had a hockey stick in her hand since she was only two.
She is a midfield player and striker.
The girls play for the Middleton club in the Saturday morning competition and are both Western Region representatives as well.
India was also in the Under 13 squad last year and reached state level with the all schools team.
Both girls admit they ‘live and breath’ hockey and would one day like to represent Australia.
No prizes for guessing who their favourite player is!
Parkes’ Australian representative, Mariah Williams.
