Coming off the back of an emphatic 8-nil win over Lithgow Zig Zag, United will head into the clash full of confidence.
It is a match that will go a long way to helping secure a semi-final berth if United can overcome the home side.
Captain Kieran Deland is happy with the side’s preparations for the important match.
“I am very happy to be going in to the match with a relatively unchanged side,” Deland said.
“Hamish Orr is out due to work commitments but Regan Hotham makes his return after a knee injury.
“It is an important match and one we would like to win.
“Souths are a very physical and direct side.
“It will be important for us to remain condensed in defence and win the 50/50 balls,” he said.
United will hope for a repeat performance of when they defeated Souths on their home turf earlier in the season.
The key could be making the most of their opportunities up front.
Parkes’ strikers had a good day last Saturday but will face stiffer opposition tomorrow.
“We will be looking to exploit their defensive structure with our pace up front,” Deland said.
“If we can take advantage of the chances we create, I am confident we can beat them on their own turf again,” he said.
