The ABBA festival takes place annually in Trundle – about 60km north west of Parkes – where hundreds of people attend for the weekend.
The 2013 Festival took place in July at a number of Trundle venues.
During this time, the Trundle services club on Forbes Street was broken into after the alarm system had allegedly been tampered with. Cash was taken from the premises.
Officers attached to Lachlan Local Area Command commenced investigations into the incident.
Detectives have released CCTV footage of two men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
Detective Sergeant Steve HOWARD (Investigations Manager Lachlan LAC) said the men are believed to have attended the Festival.
"The male depicted in the foyer of the club was seen to activate the fire alarm before running out the front door," he said.
"This combined with the fact that there was a scheduled power outage on the night of the robbery and the fact that the alarms sensors were interfered with leads us to believe that this was a well planned Robbery
"We are seeking to establish if anybody in Trundle knew or knows the identity of the persons as we do not believe them to be locals and that they may be able to assist us."
Police are urging anyone with information about this incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page: https://www1.police.nsw.gov.au/.
