It will play out over the next five months until mid-December’s grand finals.
The club would like to remind teams and players, both seniors and juniors, that they must be members of Parkes Services Club.
Nomination forms and other information is available at the Club’s front desk.
The net rule also needs to be tightened up, not only for finals but in weekly matches as well.
The hands-free net rule, along with the foot-free ball rule, have long been part of the overall rules of volley squash.
The two more notable results from the first round of competition saw last comps C Grade champions R. C. Ones beaten 4-1 by Ray White Allsorts and D Grade winners Mad Mob lose their match 3-2 to Senseful.
Tomorrow night’s draw is as follows:
6.15pm - Ruff Nuts v Oon Saah, A Team v Spikey Lemons, Flash Gordons v Parkes Pandas, Ray White Good Sorts v Senseful.
7pm - Hot Trots v Shooters, Leaguies v Moo Cows, 1300 Bugman v Cougars, Knock Knock v Tara Jeane.
7.45pm - Coachy v Hogsbreath, Mordakai v Electric Eels, Services v R. C. Ones, Chilli Peppers v Ray White Allsorts.
8.30pm - Billy Bobsledders v Team X, Mac Attack v Autobots, Taylors v Inflammable Monkeys, Oh Deer v Mad Mob.
