Olympic distance stars Youcef Abdi and Lisa Corrigan will be in Parkes this weekend for the Northparkes Rotary Fun Run on Sunday.

Youcef and Lisa will be assisting with the event and with support from Parkes Little Athletics Club also running an Athletics NSW Distance Running Coaching Super Clinic for young athletes aged 10-17yrs at Northparkes Oval tomorrow.
Youcef finished 6th in the 3km steeplechase at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and also competed in steeplechase at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
He has competed in three Commonwealth Games and won a bronze medal in the 1500m at the Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games.
Lisa is the Australian record holder for the mile and has competed in two World Championships, the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games.
Lisa, who grew up in Canowindra, currently works for Athletics NSW and was involved in the inaugural 2013 Northparkes Rotary Fun Run.
The Fun Run will take place this Sunday and features 5km, 10km and 2km 4kids events.
It will start at Harrison Park from 9am, finishing at Northparkes Oval.
