The Open Day combines the joint celebration of Volunteers and Neighbourhood Centre Week.
Local residents are urged to go along and celebrate the many wonderful volunteers and see what the Neighbourhood Centre has to offer.
The lunchtime program commences at 12pm with a soup lunch, entertainment and competition displays.
People will be able to have a look around the Neighbourhood Centre, make some new friends, and find out what services are available to you and your family.
From 3pm, the afternoon program will begin.
A sausage sizzle will be enjoyed by all. Go along and get an airbrush tattoo, crazy hair design or crazy nails.
There will be a jumping castle, balloons for everyone, and trike rides around town.
The official opening will take place at 4pm with Mayor Ken Keith in attendance.
Competition winners will receive their prizes and a celebration cake will be cut.
Open Day is a fun, happy and vibrant day, where the staff at the centre engage with the community and thank the volunteers who so freely give of their time, energy and expertise to make the Neighbourhood Centre the wonderful place it is.
For any further details, please contact the Neighbourhood Centre on 6862 3757 or see the flyers around town.
Staff look forward to seeing local residents there!
