Operation Tortoise, a high-visibility, state-wide traffic blitz was held from Thursday to Monday.
Sergeant Vince Robinson said Parkes Police are very happy.
“No PCAs were reported in Parkes, no one was in custody over the weekend and only one person was arrested,” he said.
“Operation Tortoise will now be followed by Operation Go Slow, which will run between Thursday, April 24 and Sunday April 27, encompassing the Anzac Day long weekend and end of the school holidays.
“Again, double demerits will be in force for speeding, seatbelt, and motorcycle-helmet offences throughout the operation.”
