Lachlan Local Area Command (LAC) Inspector David Cooper said 16 calls were received last Friday and Saturday, providing the names of 40 people.
Police have locations of possible suspects - both in the Lachlan LAC and neighbouring areas - and will be continuing inquiries in the weeks ahead.
"This is the first campaign we have held in quite some time, but we are looking to stage them more regularly in the future," he said.
"The response we received was very positive and police are most grateful to the support of the general public. We will now be following-up the leads we have received."
Inspector Cooper stressed however, that members of the community could provide information on drug dealers and transactions at any time.
