The inaugural Elvis Edible Art Competition will be focused on the creative people in the district and it is hoped its popularity will grow leading into a bigger event in years to come.
The NSW TrainLink Parkes Elvis Festival committee is now inviting entries in the Edible Art Competition which will be held in conjunction with the Miss Priscilla Dinner.
If you love Elvis and you love cake decorating then start planning and making your Elvis Edible Cake Topper or Plaque.
Designs can be in the 2014 Festival theme ‘Kissin Cousins’ or an Elvis theme of your choice.
The Cake Toppers and Plaques will be on display and judged by popular vote at the Miss Priscilla Dinner on Thursday, January 9, 2014, in the Starlight Room at the Parkes Services Club.
They will then be on display for public viewing for the duration of the Festival upstairs at the Services Club.
A display of selected works provided by the Parkes/Forbes Branch of the Cake Decorators Guild of NSW will also a feature.
The Elvis Edible Art competition is proudly supported by Colouby Creations, Anne and Robert Steel, and the Parkes/Forbes Branch of the Cake decorators Guild of NSW.
