Rotary is providing the lunch and those people who have nominated their neighbours are all invited to attend.
If you have nominated someone it is essential that you tell them about the presentation and make sure that you both show up on the day.
Parkes Rotary President David Hughes said he was surprised and elated by the number of nominations received in this the first year of the award.
“We received 17 entries, some nominating a single person and others nominating couples.
“The breadth and scope of the things that neighbours are doing for each other is incredible.’

The people nominated as Good Neighbours are never seeking recognition - they are just delighted to be able to help.
This is an opportunity for them to be thanked by the person who nominated them.
Among the locals nominated as Good Neighbours are the following (and it is hoped all will be present at next week’s luncheon).
Darelle Whitney of Cooke Street -’there for me at all times.’
Daphne and Michael Bennet of Tulura Place - ‘neighbours from Heaven.’
Ian Guymer of Best Street - ‘Ian always helps out.’
Coral Barber of Thurlstone Street - ‘nothing is too much trouble.’
Geoff Witherow of Kamandra Lane - ‘first to offer help.’
Bev and Bob Bokeyar of Mengarvie Road - ‘what neighbours and friends!’
Bob and Flo Riseborough of Banjo Place - ‘always helping out.’
Donna and Paul Drabsch of Carinya Street - ‘could not get through without them.’
Pat Bailey of Victoria Street - ‘always helping others.’
‘Ian and Heather’ of Bogan Street - ‘Minding our little Peanut after his operation.’
Sandie, David, Edward Poon of Currajong Street - ‘always caring.’
Malcolm MacDonald of Brolgan Road - ‘a genuine great guy.’
Charlie Smith of Gallop Avenue - ‘like a father to us and grandfather to our children.’
Dawn and Ian Phipps of Glenburnie Place - ‘always there for us.’
