Last Wednesday was Presidents Day.
This was a very happy and friendly day with teams coming to play from Peak Hill, Tottenham, Manildra, Molong Forbes, Parkes, Canowindra as well as several Railway Diggers club teams.
President Evelyn Gibson thanked all those players who went to support her.
The hall was beautifully decorated with special thanks to Bev Banham.
Thanks also to the ladies in the kitchen - Ann Priest, Norma Pollock, Shirley Bishop and everyone else who worked to make the day a success.
Winners were Jean Danson, Rose Mitchell and Lea Tanks. Runners-up were the Peak Hill team.
Spider winner was Sharon Malvenie from Canowindra. Closest to Presidents’ bowl was Mary Hughes from Manildra.
The annual general meeting will be after Fun Dress Up Bowls Day.
On Saturday, October 26, there will be an afternoon tea from 1.30pm to 5.30pm at 7 Guillen Place.
It is a charity afternoon with bowlers giving a gold coin donation.
All money will go to Wig Library Parkes
Anyone who goes can stay as long as they like or for a short period if they want.
Everyone are welcome.
