Redcliffe v Central Comets (Dolphin Oval, August 16 at 2pm)

Redcliffe players face a sleepless night even if they beat the Comets in the ABC televised match at Dolphin Oval. A win over the Comets would push the Dolphins one point clear of the Burleigh Bears and into the top five - but perhaps for 24 hours only. The Bears, who are drawn to play Souths Logan on Sunday, have the last shot. The Bears can qualify for the finals and bundle the Dolphins out of the playoffs with a final round victory at Pizzey Park. Although Central's form has dipped in recent weeks, they could prove a real handful for the Dolphins.

Northern Pride v Ipswich (Barlow Park, August 16 at 6pm)

The Northern Pride have recalled five-eighth Stephen Sheppard for their crunch game with the Jets. Sheppard's inclusion relegates Luke Millwood to the interchange bench. While Ipswich has clinched top spot, the Pride must win to stand any chance of securing second and a home semi-final. Josh Lewis is set to return to the Ipswich line-up after a two-match stint with the Gold Coast Titans, while Donald Malone enters the match on a high after his stunning five-try haul against Tweed last Saturday.

Burleigh v Souths Logan (Pizzey Park, August 17 at 3pm)

With plenty at stake, a huge crowd is expected at Pizzey Park for the final round blockbuster between two desperate sides. Depending on other results, Souths Logan may be playing for both the club championship and second spot on the Wizard Cup ladder. And if Redcliffe beat the Comets in Saturday's game, Burleigh will find themselves under the pump and needing to win to ensure their place in the finals.
