These ladies had very difficult circumstances in which to play, their concentration was broken several times, needing to leave the green because of the wet weather.

Brenda Davies, in her first game of Championships managed the conditions well, certainly showing no sign of “nerves”.

This was a close game, Kate’s team managed to hold off a late charge from the opposition.

The weather was not kind to these players either, making it very difficult to hold one’s bowls.

Members’ nominations are now open for the committee and will close 30 June at 1.30pm.

The Annual General Meeting will be held on 14 July at 1.30pm.

Our monthly Trading Table was well supported, with a few of our Ladies taking home multiple prizes.

The final round of the Jones’ Trophy Challenge will be held on Wednesday, 24 June, against the Parkes Railway Diggers at our club. Teams to be advised.

If you are interested in learning to play bowls, we have a group of ladies who get together every Wednesday morning (all beginners) between 9.30am and 11.00am, the club also has spare bowls.
