A sensational opening 12 minutes set up Magpies' 8-3 win over St Pats last Saturday as the Parkes side went six points clear of their Bathurst rivals to consolidate second place on the ladder.
Magpies scored five goals in 12 minutes to start the match which left St Pats shellshocked and unable to recover.
The last time these sides met, the match ended in a tight 1-1 draw, but this time Magpies got on the board after just 40 seconds of play.
St Pats had only conceded 11 goals in nine matches this season, but Magpies piled on the pain as their forwards ran rampant.
Ian Westcott started the annihilation as he converted a penalty corner before Glenn Johnstone fired in a bullet of his own from another corner just two minutes later.
From the ensuing hit off, St Pats turned the ball over and Aaron Huppatz danced through some flimsy defence and chipped in a great shot for a 3-0 lead.
The carnage didn't end there as Johnstone scored again and Graeme Thompson picked up a rebound.
