Parkes bowler, ‘Baldy’ Frame made the semi- finals of the state singles played at the Soldiers Point Club over the weekend.
On Saturday morning Baldy played promising youngster Bryce De Braun from Wagga, and won an epic battle 31-30.
In the afternoon his opponent was Pat Duke from Nowra, Baldy was in great touch winning a place in the semi-finals with a masterful 31-19 victory.
On Sunday morning, after a valliant effort, he was defeated by the eventual winner, Mick Anderson of Ballina 31-28.
It was a great result for Baldy as he has been in great touch this year at both District and Zone levels.
He also is a key member of the Western Warriors Premier League side.
