Mrs Jones in the starter’s room did the draw to determine partners in what became a 4 ball aggregate stroke event last Sunday.
In a cruel twist of fate, a couple of players lost shots but did not receive a reward for their efforts.
Jake Hodge was not one of them firing a nett 25 and when fortune had him teamed with Tom Ward and it’s a tribute to Jake’s stamina that they crossed the line in first place with 60 to take the Video Ezy award.
Runners up were Blake Parker and Bryce Bennett with 63.
The putting competition was held for players with a 19 or greater handicap and this went to Jack Ford courtesy of the countback.
Kyle Bell’s shot into the 6th was pleasure to behold. It hit the green and ran towards the pin finishing pin high and 30cm to the right.
Kyle got his birdie as did Thomas Ward when he greened the 4th.
Handicap revisions - Bryce Bennett 28 to 26, Jack Ford 20 to 19; Jake Hodge 28 to 24 and Matthew Ellery 26 to 27.
