Parkes cricket stars Patrick and Cameron Rosser will jet out for Alice Springs this weekend as they prepare to defend the Imparja Cup.
The dynamic duo are part of the NSW squad that dominated the 2011 competition, going through undefeated.
All teams will have NSW in their sights during the tournament that runs from February 6 to 11.
Featuring a mixture of Twenty20 and one-day matches, the Imparja Cup is a competition for Indigenous cricketers and is perfectly suited to the big hitting and crafty bowling of the Parkes pair.
Patrick was the Player of the Tournament at last year’s Imparja Cup and has recently returned from the Australian Country Cricket Championships where he was in excellent form with both bat and ball.
Cameron is also a seasoned performer at the Imparja Cup, having created headlines in 2007 when he moved from 75 to 105 during the last five balls of an innings with five consecutive sixes.
Both will be hoping to lift the Imparja Cup at the end of next week.
Respected local umpire and cricket official Warwick Wheeldon is also making the trip to Alice Springs to stand as an umpire at the tournament.
