The Parkes Spacemen head to Wellington this Sunday to do battle with the Cowboys in what is always a tough road trip.
First grade coach Will Harris always gets nervous when the team plays Wellington because they can be so unpredictable.
When playing at home they are at least a 10 point better team so Parkes will need to continue the form they showed last weekend against Narromine.
The Parkes side will be missing two of its big guns for this clash as well with Dennis Moran unavailable due to rep commitments.
Captain James Hunt is still hampered by a knee injury so it will be left to Justin Stevenson and Keaton Harris to direct the team around the park while Bradleigh Sanders will be more than a capable replacement in the lock position for Hunt.
Aaron Thorne is also missing this week due to injury however Alexander Peden will be available and should fit in well with the team.
The remainder of the team will be the same as last week so the Spacemen will be looking for back-to-back wins.
The reserve grade team will be looking to consolidate their position at the top of the competition table.
The Cowboys are currently running second and this game will go a long way to determining positions as a win to Parkes will see them put a four point gap on the rest of the field.
The under 18s were unlucky not to record a victory against Wellington in the first round but they will need to control the ball and be very patient this weekend if they are to defeat the Cowboys at home.
Cain Henry will be unavailable due to rep commitments and while this will leave a hole, it will be an opportunity for other players to stand up and be counted.
All supporters are welcome to come and cheer the Spacemen on what is an important weekend of football for the club.
