Margaret Hogan’s magnificent 44 points attracted the attention of the handicapper and she lost one whole shot!
Runners-up were Leonie Thompson on 36 on a countback to Anne Berkeley. They won one ball each.
Next came Helen Clark, 35, on a countback to Liz Matthews and Lorraine Maxwell but only Helen won a ball.
Nearest the pins were Jenny Hoy on the 1st, Lesley Fisher on the 4th, Leonie Thompson on the 6th, Lynne Guise on the 11th and Colleen Flynn on the 15th.
On Easter Saturday we played a stroke event for a club trophy which was won by Glynis Conroy with a great 67 nett (snip, snip).
Ball winners were Lyn Davison, 71 nett, Lesley Fisher 72 and Anne Berkeley 74 on a countback to Colleen Flynn who missed out on a ball.
Lynette Van Zyl won the BTA (Better Times Ahead).
Nearest the pins were Kaye Jones on the 1st, Adrianne Brown on the 4th, Lyn Davison on the 6th, Margaret Hogan on the 11th and Ann Goodie on the 15th.
Today’s event is the second Golf NSW Medal and Club Medal stroke with putting in conjunction for a trophy donated by Leonie Thompson.
Next Saturday’s event is the mixed 4BBB Stableford for Trish and Ray Wyatt’s trophy.
It is also a qualifying round for the 2012 Keno NSW Mixed 4BBB championship.
Sunday is Albert’s Opening Day and anyone interested should contact Josie Matthews.
Next Wednesday is the second round of the Pat Turnbull Salver, sponsored by Frankie Cock.
Dubbo is holding its Open Tournament on Thursday.
Saturday, April 21, is the second Saturday round of the Golf NSW Medal and Club Medal, stroke, with putting in conjunction.

On Anzac Day there is a club sponsored Stableford event.
Thursday, April 26, is Cumnock’s Open Tournament.
On Saturday, April 28, the Life Members of Parkes Golf Club are sponsoring a Stableford event.
Sunday, April 29, is the Twin Towns Championship at Forbes in A and B grades for the women, with Veterans in conjunction.
