Boars want win for the ladies

03 Jul, 2009 09:56 AM
This week the Boars take on Cowra at Northparkes Oval on ‘Ladies Day’.

Cowra has travelled well in previous weeks but injury worries will weaken their first grade side.

Parkes is an excellent chance of victory here if defence can remain solid for 80 minutes.

Numbers at training are extremely disappointing, particularly on Tuesday nights, this will need to improve if wins are expected.

Second and third grade are improving every week and with a bit of luck should come up with a win this week as the Cowra lower grades do not travel so well.

Colts will have a tight game this week and coach Symington is asking for commitment once again.

The likes of Cody Brown, Joe Nash and Sam Standen really need to step up to the plate for this clash.

It is a full day of rugby on Saturday with juniors kicking off at 9.30am. It is also ‘Ladies Day’ this weekend, so as per tradition, all ladies get free entry into the ground as well as quality ‘champas’ and nibbles.

The club needs support so let’s get behind the Boars and help them over the line.
