Next week will be the only opportunity to register for Senior Mens/Women, Intermediate (Years 7-9) and Junior (Years 3-6) touch football competition.
Austouch (Years K-2) will have the opportunity to register the following week.
The Junior/Intermediate comp will commence on 10 September.
Austouch will commence on 17 September. The senior comp will commence on 11 September.
The club has adopted a one night nomination for Austouch. In the past we have held three Saturday nomination days.
This will no longer be the case and parents and managers are urged to attend the Austouch nomination and information evening held on Tuesday, 9 September at 5.30pm till 7pm at the Parkes Leagues Club.
Following this meeting, Hornets Development Officer Andrew Lees will inform participants of their requirements in the program and conduct an Austouch leaders course.
This will start at 7pm and be finished by 9pm. Those that attended the course last year are not required to attend this year.
Once again this night will be the only chance to nominate teams for the Austouch competition and it is compulsory to attend with fully completed team sheets accompanied with total team payments.
There will be only one registration night this year for the Juniors/Intermediate and Seniors.
Registrations will take place at the Parkes Leagues Club on Monday, 1 September, at 5.30pm at the Parkes Leagues Club.
Cost for the juniors is $40 for child one and two, third child is $30, fourth child is $20 and fifth child is free. The cost for Seniors will be $60.
With the competition starting six weeks earlier again, the association encourages teams to organise themselves and be ready for the one registration night, as late nominations will no longer be accepted.
Teams are reminded that fully completed nomination forms with addresses and dates of birth must be handed in to comply with NSW touch football regulations.
It is encouraged that the team manager submits total money and nomination form together.
Please make every effort to form teams, as individual players will no longer be accepted.
The competition will continue to run throughout the October school holidays.
The association reminds teams that it is compulsory to play in team shirts with the appropriate numbering on the back and sleeve of the shirt.
Nomination forms will be available from all schools.
Also you can obtain nomination forms from Byrnes Clothing, BAKM Enterprises and Sportspower.
