This was a close match and certainly very entertaining.

Margaret and Audrey’s team was always in the lead but Brenda and Cherie stayed focused, maintaining pressure until the final end.

The Annual General Meeting will be held on 14 July at 1.30pm, all Committee Badges to be handed into the Secretary prior to this date.

The monthly Trading Table will be held tomorrow along with a shared luncheon for a special birthday for Olive Johnstone.

Players are requested to be at the club by 8.45am to help set tables etc prior to the start of play.

A special “thank you “to the two Colins for their tutoring of our new ladies and gentleman on Wednesday morning. Your help was certainly appreciated.

The warm sunny day encouraged 13 players to enjoy a morning of learning to play bowls. Hope to see you all again next week.
