Rosser muscles more runs

10 Feb, 2012 08:27 AM
Parkes player Pat Rosser continues to dominate bowling attacks around the country with another series of impressive performance at the Imparja Cup in Alice Springs.

Rosser is playing for the NSW team that is currently undefeated in its quest to defend the national title.

Earlier in the week, NSW dismantled Northern Territory and the ACT, with Rosser turning in impressive performances with both bat and ball.

NSW scored an imposing 4/202 from their 20 overs with Rosser blasting 83 from 43 balls.

He then took 3/35 as ACT were bundled out for 7/135.

Against Northern Territory, Rosser chipped in with a wicket as the home side could only muster 8/87 from their 20 overs.

NSW knocked off the target in 8.1 overs with Rosser 45 not out from 27 balls.

Yesterday proved a much tougher day with matches against Victoria and Queensland - who were both unbeaten.

After being bowled out for 130 against Victoria, NSW fought back to restrict thier opponents to 8/118.

They then maintained their perfect record with a thrilling last-ball win over Queensland.

The Reds batted first and scored 6/165. However an innings of 97 not out from Nathan Price got NSW home by four wickets.

On the last ball of the match Price smashed a towering six to get NSW home.
