Parkes is represented by three players in the selection trials for the Western Zone representative cricket side which will be picked in Dubbo this weekend.
All three - Phil Dunford, Cameron Rosser and Anthony Heraghty - have been in fine form and will be among the favoured players to gain selection.
All are seasoned representative players and should need to do little to convince selectors of their worth.
Normally the Western Zone team is selected from the all-age carnival but this season, the top 24 players from the Mitchell, Macquarie and Lachlan Cricket Councils have been mixed to play two selection trial matches.
The players invited will be split into two teams and will play possibles versus probables matches, with one on Saturday and the second on Sunday.
