Ribbon cut to officially open new $2 million complex

10 Feb, 2012 08:18 AM
Parkes Mayor Ken Keith said the new $2 million Parkes Toyota development will give a boost to the local business community.

Cr Keith was speaking yesterday at the official opening of the complex in Bogan Street.

The Mayor said owner, Tony Barklimore’s confidence in the district with such a major investment would encourage others to have faith in the town’s continued growth.

A large number of senior Toyota officials came to Parkes for the ceremony, which was also attended by builder Tim McCabe, designer Craig McKinnon, Parkes Chamber of Commerce representatives, and staff.

Meanwhile, local residents have a wonderful opportunity to inspect the impressive new premises during a special Open Day tomorrow from 9.30am. Parkes Rotary Club will provide donuts and a sausage sizzle.
