During that time Pat has continuously been secretary and welfare officer.

Pat has been responsible for organising street stalls, markets, bingo, raffles, head shaves and numerous other fundraising events which have raised many hundreds of thousands of dollars to assist Cancer Patients with travel, accommodation and medical expenses and has always given her time to helping those people during their difficult times.

Pat continues to hold both positions while still working very hard in raising much needed money for Can Assist Parkes Branch and all the cancer patients in this area.

Pat’s response

To receive this is wonderful, but not expected as everything she does and has done is because she wants to benefit all cancer sufferers from this area.

The outcome could not have been achieved without the always willing support of her many volunteers and friends who she really appreciates and thanks from the bottom of her heart.
