Opening their doors to the community

03 Jul, 2009 09:47 AM
On July 1, Central West Community College opened its doors as the local provider of the Australian Government’s new Job Services Australia.

The new national employment services initiative commences this month, offering more tailored support for local jobs and connect with local employers.

The College is excited to be supporting the local community and has been contracted to provide services in the local region and the organisation says the new scheme will assist both employers and job seekers.

The Federal Government is spending $4.9 billion over the next three years on Job Services Australia which will replace the existing Job Network system.
