Wedding bells are well and truly in the air for two of Parkes East Public School’s newly appointed teaching staff Michelle Wallace and Natalie Kriss.
In fact, both teachers will marry local men on the same day – Saturday, April 7, Natalie in Parkes and Michelle in Fiji.
Michelle will exchange wedding vows with Patrick Rosser while Natalie will wed Brad Gardiner.
Michelle has been part of the teaching profession for the past five years. She came to Parkes from Sydney’s Leichardt Public School and has transferred from Parkes Public School to Parkes East where she is teaching Class 2/6W.
For Natalie, Parkes East is her first appointment after graduating from Charles Sturt University (CSU) in Dubbo last December.
Natalie is teaching Class 3/4N.
The third new appointment is Tracey Lickess.
Tracey is the K/2 Literacy/Numeracy District School Leader based at Parkes East.
This is her fifth year in the teaching profession and last year was based at Forbes North Primary School.
In her role, Tracey will travel to schools throughout the district where she will conduct literacy and numeracy training sessions with teaching staff.
