Northparkes Mines has announced a new Managing Director to replace Craig Stegman.
Stefanie Loader has been appointed to the position of Managing Director of Northparkes Mines effective from April 9.
Stefanie has worked with Rio Tinto for 18 years.
Most recently, she served as Project Director for the Diamonds and Minerals Group’s Bunder Project in India where she has played a pivotal role in advancing project studies.
A geologist by training, Stefanie began her career as an exploration geologist in Western Australia.
She has extensive global experience, having spent 10 years in mineral exploration roles in Australia, Laos, Chile and Peru before joining the mining side of the business at Diavik in Canada’s Northwest Territories.
Along with her family, Stefanie will relocate from Delhi, India to Northparkes.
