A 50 year-old Parkes man was refused bail to appear in Orange Local Court yesterday following his arrest in Parkes last Sunday afternoon.
Police were called to a home in Phillip Street at 4pm after the man allegedly forced his way into the home and assaulted two adult females.
Police arrested the man at the scene and transported him to the Parkes police station where he was formally charged with two counts of aggravated break and enter, two counts of assault and one count of malicious damage.

Forensic police from Dubbo attended the scene of a crime on Monday which occurred in Captain Wilson Avenue during the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police report the two occupants of the home were asleep when offenders broke in sometime during the hours of midnight Saturday and 7.30am Sunday when the discovery was made.
It is believed the offenders entered the home through an unlocked back door and stole a quantity of money and an Apple brand iPhone.
They then took keys from the home and entered a vehicle parked outside and stole an amount of money from the console.

An occupant of a home in Sydney Street was woken from his sleep at approximately 11.40pm Saturday night to discover three males attempting to break into the house.
The occupant challenged the males who immediately ran from the scene.
A subsequent investigation revealed a flyscreen removed from a window.
Because of the dark conditions the man was unable to provide police with identification – only to say that one of the offenders was wearing a white t-shirt .
