The curtain goes up tonight on the eagerly anticipated latest Parkes M and D Society production Beauty and the Beast.
Under the direction of Greg Ballantyne, cast and crew members have been working around the clock to get the show ready for tonight’s premier.
All up there will be nine performances of the popular stage show based on the classic Disney cartoon movie.
The show boasts a cast and crew of more than 70.
While tickets are selling fast seats are still available for this weekend’s shows – Friday, Saturday and Sunday (matinee).
If you can’t make it this weekend, performances will take place next Thursday (October 29), Friday (October 30), Sunday (November 1) and then the following Friday, Saturday and Sunday (November 6, 7 and 8).
Evening performances commence 7.30pm while all matinee shows get underway at 2pm.

Beauty and the Beast will wrap up a hectic year for the Parkes M and D Society which commenced 2009 with the highly successful musical production Oliver and more recently the PAC Concert.
