30 Aug 10 | Arthur John Asgill, born June 8, 1916, at Parkes, was the second of three sons to Amos and Maude Asgill (nee Packham). His brothers Frank and Keith predeceased him.
Arthur was born into very hard times and worked on the family farm, “Glentruin” at Gunningbland, from an early age.
