Description:
Attend a free one day training course and learn how to help your local community in times of disaster, such as bushfires, floods, earthquakes, or storms.
As a Red Cross volunteer you may be called upon during a disaster to meet people at an evacuation centre, provide a listening ear, or help with practical tasks.
If you have good common sense, people skills and care about your community, then come along to the training session where you will become part of your local team and join over 2,000 personal support volunteers across the ACT and NSW.
Attendees must be 18 years of age or over.
